Reliability Engineer:

Primary focus will be to support maintenance group with rotating and fixed equipment troubleshooting, repair and improve reliability.
:
Develop reliability programs and/or practices to achieve and/or surpass maintenance departmental KPI's.
:
Generate, modify or delete maintenance strategies based on RCM methodologies.
:
Participate, facilitate, and review Root Cause Analyses.
:
Develop equipment repair best practices, procedures and specifications and precision maintenance techniques.
:
Ensure cost effective bill of materials are established and in use within the existing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP) :
Review engineering specifications and design modification proposals to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements.
:
Participate in the predictive maintenance program for the facility to include:
Thermal Scanning (IR), Ultrasonic, Oil Analysis and Vibration Monitoring to ensure compliance with registration certifications and established standards.
:
Partner with environmental engineering to ensure Best Maintenance Practices are utilized in order to facilitate an environmentally safe facility.
:
Participate with interdepartmental staff at all levels of the organization, to create, obtain and support optimal maintenance practices and programs.
:
Drive improvement in the maintenance planning, scheduling, execution processes (MPI).
Qualifications :
BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5
years' experience in maintenance or reliability engineering.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
:
Excellent computer skills to include CMMS software, manufacturing software, spreadsheets and word processing software.
:
Must possess the ability to work independently and deliver projects/tasks on time and within budget.

Must be team oriented and be able to lead and direct members of the maintenance team.
