3 Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description Responsibilities The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for developing expertise in the various complex systems used by the State Board of Administration (SBA).
This position performs regular financial systems maintenance including data integrity validation, upgrades and testing of new functionality for the various systems.
The position works with staff throughout the SBA to research, analyze, and resolve complex investment or system-related issues in a timely manner.
The Financial Systems Analyst reports to the Director of Financial Systems.
25% - Provides System Administration Support for Eagle STAR/PACE system Updates security reference data and research discrepancies as necessary Monitors nightly processing and resolves issues Processes users requests and executes other system maintenance jobs Assists with testing of system upgrades 20% - Provides Business Process Support for Investment Portfolio Accounts Coordinates new account setup at custodian banks Maintains master data for investment portfolio accounts in various systems Coordinates annual account close process for terminated investment portfolio accounts 20% - Provides Business Process Support for Money Market Pools Performs daily verification of performance rates for 2a7-like pool Maintains master data for participant accounts in various systems Oversees monthly processing of income allocation 20% - Provides Business Process Support for Wire instructions Conducts quality controls by verifying instructions with outside parties Maintains wire instructions in custodian bank systems 15% - Performs Other Duties Create and update documentation to be used in Financial Systems processes Work with team members in Financial Systems to complete special projects Qualifications A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, computer science, management information systems, or a related field and one year of related experience.

Preferences:
Experience with Bloomberg, Eagle STAR/PACE systems, and/or PeopleSoft Financials Experience in investment operations and systems administration CPA certificate from the Florida Board of Accountancy Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external business partners Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access Knowledge in investment security including interest accrual rules for fixed income securities Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles Knowledge of trading, portfolio management, and ERP systems Knowledge of banking systems and wire template instructions Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to work efficiently and multitask under time constraints Hiring Range:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
