The firm supports the goal of providing safe, decent housing for lower-income individuals and families and is a leader in fostering self-development capacity at PHAs.
TAG's areas of expertise include the planning and development of public and subsidized housing; capital improvement implementation and management; PHA financial oversight systems and programs; operations and organizational assessments; and training programs.
TAG Associates of Florida is currently seeking to hire an Affordable Housing Research Associate with strong analytical, financial, and written skills.
He/She will work on real estate development and strategic planning projects.
The Associate will work closely with TAG senior staff and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Research state and federal housing funding regulations and apply findings to on-going and impending real estate deals Procure state and federal funding for housing development projects on behalf of clients Take part in all aspects of the pre-development process for new and rehabilitated affordable housing projects; from conception to financial closing Perform financial analysis and document review of pending and potential real estate deals Organize and manipulate data-sets for clients with large portfolios Data collection and analysis Assist with proposals to engage new clients Writing memos summarizing recommendations based on analysis Requirements:
Strong interest in affordable housing and real estate development MS 365; Teams; and strong Excel skills Understanding of basic financial concepts such as mortgages and interest rates Strong writing skills Preferred

Undergraduate or Graduate Degrees in:
