com AUI is currently seeking a motivated individual to grow with us in our Tallahassee office.
Patient Resource Coordinator Position will be the ultimate resource to ensure patients receive the highest level of customer service and care.
Ensures that the care loop is closed and all patient needs are met.
Will be knowledgeable in most areas of non-clinical support and responsible for providing superior customer service and care to patients.
May follow standard work for the following:
office visit scheduling, ancillary and diagnostic services scheduling, surgery and hospital scheduling, referrals and charge entry.
Ensures that patients care is coordinated efficiently, effectively and timely and that resources and support are engaged so care is followed through with.
Acts as a go to for patient resource needs and customer service.
Position may provide services at the point of care for the patient (in the exam room) to include completing the charge entry day of visit or in a separate office.
Must be accurate, have a bias for action and provide follow through.
DUTIES:
Completes standard work and provides follow up services and scheduling of office visits to patients.
Follows standard work and schedules surgery, diagnostic and imaging as needed ensuring that proper authorizations are obtained.
Completes all documentation and follow up required.
Interacts with other staff, AUI providers, outside sources and outside providers to ensure that all of patients needs are met and scheduled accordingly.
Provides accurate detailed information to patients regarding follow up visits and procedures scheduled.
If supporting billing, may complete charge entry to ensure billing is achieved within 48 hours.
Ensures that all appropriate procedures are documented and billed for.
Maintains tight connections with the providers, team leaders and other staff communicating effectively to ensure all services are provided and accounted for.
As a higher-level customer service position, may be asked to provide support for any of the Patient Services standard work-flows or service recovery.
Actively participates in problem solving and identifying improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
