Job Description:
Alpha II is seeking a highly driven, energetic individual to join our business development team as a Business Development Representative.
This role is an inside sales representative who develops/converts leads and generates new business that results in revenue growth and retention.
This position involves outbound sales activities for new potential customers, business referrals, and/or web leads.
This role is fundamental in achieving ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
The Business Development Representative will possess high social intelligence, client relationship management skills, with a competitive and winning mindset.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Build and manage a lead development pipeline by conducting 40-50 activities per day by phone/email/social media Proactively target new opportunities, focusing on 10-200 clinicians in size Train and become highly knowledgeable of Alpha II products, operations, and industry Effectively demonstrate and articulate Alpha II's revenue cycle products to prospects Achieve annual sales targets and tracks opportunities from discovery to close Manage sales pipeline and forecasting; clearly document sales activities through Microsoft Dynamics CRM Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, emails, and other avenues.
Research potential clients, connect with and educate prospects about Alpha II suite of solutions.
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest Qualify leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel Maintain and expand database of prospects Collaborate with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals Perform effective online demos to prospects Develop strategic plans to retain and grow revenue.
Use strong project management, task management and execution management skills to meet revenue goals.
Effectively communicate Alpha II's value proposition with key executive decision makers including but not limited to C-Suite and other key and influential personnel Must pay attention to detail and organization while managing time well.
Communicate with a wide array of audiences while instilling trust and driving revenue Attend industry conferences representing Alpha II Demonstrate the ability to implement a consultative solution selling approach, facilitates smooth hand-off to Client Delivery, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless implementation and support Skills and Knowledge:
Strong relationship and customer service skills required Proven inside sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quota Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport and credibility quickly with an executive-level audience Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required Knowledge of, and an interest in, current healthcare business challenges, products, and sales practices Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is necessary Advanced knowledge and understanding of how to use Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Goal oriented aptitude is required.
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools Experience working with CRM or similar program Strong listening and presentation skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare or Business-related field required or combination of education and experience will be accepted.

years of inside sales experience in healthcare revenue cycle services required.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
Negotiation and influencing skills with a strong business acumen.
Extensive experience in selling and/or managing senior level relationships with the channel partners, hospitals, health systems, physician groups/practices, and non-acute provider markets.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate efficiently with individuals at all levels, including C-Suite.
Ability to travel as needed up to 25% of the time Physical requirements:
Standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, bending, climbing, twisting upper body, walking, pushing, pulling, occasional lifting and carrying of large boxes up to 15 lbs.
