Qualifications Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status Must possess basic computer skills Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred Bachelor's Degree with a preferred focus in Human Service Field, Education, Recreational Activities is required At least two years of supervisory experience preferred Essential Functions Helps create and maintain a positive, learning, supportive environment for all employees and those supported.
Ensure day service supervisors implement and document trainings, support and behavior programs as required by Individual Support Plans and regulatory agencies.
Assists supervisors with ensuring employee compliance of policies and procedures through monitoring and training.
Provides constructive feedback to employees through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring.
Implements and monitors budgets at the direction of the Area Director by providing accurate fiscal information and documentation of revenue and expenses.
Ensures each program submits timely and accurate billing.
Assists Day Program Supervisors with creating active schedules that include meaningful age-appropriate activities, community engagement, self-advocacy, health and wellness, social skills, activities of daily living, volunteerism and vocational training.
Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required as this job entails direct care of adults receiving services.
Employees are required to communicate, both orally and in writing, with staff and others regarding medical care, supports, and services.
This requirement includes the ability to effectively communicate in English including medical terminology.
