Middle School Math Teacher
Cornerstone Learning Community (CLC) is seeking an experienced middle school math teacher to join its faculty full time for the 2015/2016 school year. With low staff turnover, this is a unique opportunity for an innovative educator to join a dynamic and professional team dedicated to empowering learners.

The teachers create, implement, and adapt the curricula to challenge each learner in a hands-on, project-based learning environment. Additionally, teachers have numerous leadership opportunities to initiate, implement, and create new opportunities for students, colleagues, and parents alike. Parents are an active part of our school family as supporters, guest teachers, and community organizers.
Responsibilities include:
Leading the middle school math program for all students, grades 6th - 8th.
Communicating regularly with students, parents, and colleagues.
Maintaining a high standard of instruction that aligns with International Baccalaureate (IB) MYP practices.
Reporting progress at the conclusion of each trimester.
Working closely with the IB team on day to day tasks as well as on field trips, service efforts, and subject integration projects.

Requirements include:
A bachelor's degree in a math related field.
Florida Educator Certificate in middle and/or high school math.

years of experience as a teacher, preferably in math.
IB training/experience valuable, but not required.
Qualified candidates will be invited to:

Perform a model teaching.
