Spanish Teacher Preschool - 8th Grade

Cornerstone Learning Community (CLC), a pre-k - 8th grade school, is seeking an experienced Spanish teacher to join its faculty full time for the 2015/2016 school year. With low staff turnover, this is a unique opportunity for an innovative educator to join a dynamic and professional team dedicated to empowering learners.

Responsibilities include:
Provide Spanish language foundation and experience for lower school students.
Teach Spanish 1 to middle school students.
Communicating regularly with students, parents, and colleagues.
Maintaining a high standard of instruction, and at the middle school level aligning with International Baccalaureate (IB) MYP practices.
Reporting student progress at the conclusion of each trimester.
Working closely with other teachers to integrate topics and projects.

Requirements include:
A bachelor's degree in an education related field.
Florida Educator Certificate in World Languages (Spanish specialization preferred). Will accept comparable certification from another state.
2
years of experience as a teacher, preferably in foreign language instruction.
IB training/experience valuable, but not required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
