As a Human Resources Assistant, GS-0203-07, you will plan, organize, and administer the military personnel program for the organization; serve as the technical expert on a variety of administrative matters (e.g. format for directives and standing operating procedures, general office procedures, filing systems, reference libraries, etc.); provide authoritative advice and guidance to the commander and his staff pertaining to military personnel administration; keep abreast and ensures the implementation of new policy statements, regulations and directives issued by higher headquarters concerning personnel and administrative activities; develop guidelines and operational procedures to implement changes to policies and programs directed by higher headquarters. AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709, and is open to Category 1 & 3 Only. Category 1:
All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency WITH dual FL National Guard military membership; Category 3:
All current military members of the Florida National Guard. First consideration will be given to Category 1. PCS:
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. Military Grades:

Experience:
Must have administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS-05 - Must have at least 6 months experience, education or training that provided knowledge of general office work which may include but is not limited to:
answering telephones, receiving and distributing mail and maintaining records. Experience following oral or written instructions to accomplish work. Experience establishing and retrieving files and information. Experience using common computer software designed for word processing. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS-07 Must have at least 12 months experience in the interpretation and application of regulations, procedures or laws; experience that provided a working knowledge of administrative functions; experience performing personnel transactions; experience working independently and setting priorities with very little supervisory control. MULTIPLE LEVEL RECRUITMENT:
This position is being advertised using multiple level recruitment to allow for consideration of applicants with the basic skills necessary to develop to the full journeyman level of the position. If a less than fully qualified applicant is selected, incumbent may be trained and developed until proficiency is gained to full journeyman level. If less than fully qualified individual is selected for this position, the position has potential to Grade GS-07.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
