MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, or administrative work.

A master s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.

Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Requires possession of a valid Class E driver license.

JOB DUTIES:

General:
Serves as the review scheduler for the Bureau of Compliance and Program Integrity. Responsible for ensuring the bureau maintains an optimal, accurate, and up-to-date review scheduling system that maximizes division effectiveness and efficiency in completing all required reviews for the Child Nutrition and Supplemental Food Programs.

Responsible for developing and analyzing the timeliness, quality and consistency of the review scheduling processes, systems, and tools for the bureau. Develops, monitors, and refines the statewide Administrative Review (AR) schedule for the Child Nutrition Programs, which includes the School Nutrition Programs (SNP), the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), and Seamless Summer Option (SSO) in accordance with federal regulations and state administrative rules. Develops, monitors, and refines the statewide monitoring and review schedule for the Supplemental Food Programs, which includes state contracted and sponsored-owned warehouses participating in USDA Foods for Schools, The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), and Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP).

Coordinates and implements changes to the review scheduling processes, procedures and tools to improve efficiency, effectiveness, accuracy and consistency statewide. Develops and/or maintains tools and tracking systems to monitor review schedule status and provides status updates to division leadership as needed. Identifies statewide review scheduling issues and solutions to ensure timely completion of all required reviews. Develops and implements review schedule recordkeeping processes to ensure accurate record maintenance in accordance with federal requirements and the records retention schedule. Serves as the bureau point of contact for review schedule information with other division bureaus and sections.

Issues review engagement letters to all program sponsors or recipient agencies who are to be reviewed each year. Identifies reviews to assist the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) with fulfilling its requirement to review and plan accompanied reviews. Ensures monitoring and review files follow established naming conventions and folder structures. Researches and identifies tools, resources, and applications to improve the scheduling process, including testing improvements to current systems and tools utilized for monitoring and review scheduling. Assists Compliance Specialists with data prefill of compliance and monitoring tools and/or forms.

Compiles monitoring and review data for U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) reports, public information requests, and ad hoc reports as requested by division leadership. Publishes and maintains the monitoring and review schedules on the division s network drives, SharePoint, and other platforms as approved by the Bureau Chief. Stays abreast of changes and interpretation of the program regulations governing program reviews and monitoring.

Serves as backup to the Claims Specialist. Assists with the emergency management functions of the bureau during periods of disaster. Performs other related work as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
