) DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the coordination and completion Human Resources activities, including but not limited to:
advertising positioin vacancies, hiring and separations, requesting personnel files from outside agencies, completing personnel action requests, updating position descriptions, assist with public records request, updating organizational charts and directories, performing activities related to Sick Leave Donation Requets, handle all Correction Action Plan (CAP) changes and safeguarding all confidential information.
Acts as the purchasing liaison for Detention services Headquarters; orders supply and submits payments timely and assists the Operations Management consultant Manager with assignments for Detention Services budget statewide and in headquarters.
Completes Information Resources Requests for headquarters and regions when the form is required.
Responsible for ordering electronics such as security cameras, printers, computers, iPad, cell phones, monitors and purchasing software licenses.
Completes purchase orders to balance out the budget for Detention Services and provide monthly financial expenditures reporting on all expenses including federal grants.
Maintains supply inventory for the headquarters office, orders supplies/paper, maintains copier purchase orders and upkeep.
Reviews WORKS charges, assists staff in completing required documents and ensures compliance for the purchasing card process.
Coordinates, participates, and assists in leading monthly fiscal conference calls with the regional fiscal liaisons.
Assists with training fiscal liaisons in the detention centers on fiscal processes, duties, and responsibilities.
Conducts site visits to the regional offices and detention centers to conduct the training.
Acts as a point of contact for fiscal related questions from the regions, monitors cellphone and landline affidavits for all headquarters staff.
Attends monthly budget spending meetings for Detention Services.
Analyzes and identifies areas of concern with fiscal related processes for Detention Services.
Reports these concerns to the Assistant Secretary's office.
Assists with nation School Lunch reporting.
Performs other related duties as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
Knowledge of agency, state, and federal rules and regulations.
Knowledge of purchasing processes.
Knowledge of training techniques and presentations.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Two years working experience Preference will be given to candidates with:
Experience working People First reports, Share Point, Tableau, and/or WORKS.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
