Specifically, we are seeking to hire a full-time skilled Multifamily Maintenance Technician to work at our beautiful apartment home community, The Monroe in Tallahassee, FL! The Multifamily_ Maintenance Technician_joining our team will be responsible for:
Installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment within our apartment home.
This is including but is not limited to routine repairs, appliances, plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, HVAC, door locks, and many others in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform and ensure that all assigned maintenance requests are handled on an immediate basis and in an efficient manner.
Continually inspect the community and report any deficiencies to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
Complete all items on the Make Ready Move in Checklist.
Develop and maintain professional and collaborative work relationships with the leasing and maintenance team as well as our residents.
Participate in on call emergency rotation after hours maintenance emergencies.
Qualifications This technician would have at least 2 years of experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and at least have a high school diploma or GED.
Qualified candidates will be EPA 608 certified (Universal or Type 1 and 2) Candidates without their EPA 608 Certification will be required to complete the coursework and examination necessary to achieve this designation.
CPO and HVAC Certification is a plus.
Additionally, technical training in one or more trades and experience working with multifamily communities is preferred.
Benefits Compensation plan:
Base pay is $18 - 19 per hour based on experience
monthly commission.
