The Division of Technology and Innovation is seeking a motivated individual to serve in a full-time Career Service position as a Data Base Analyst.
This position participates in planning, programming, testing and documentation of technical projects for the Application Development and Support Bureau, Division of Technology and Innovation, within the Florida Department of Education.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
Maintains existing applications.
Writes reliable programs, performs testing and creates documentation.
Documents procedures for deployment (implementation plans) of products in a manner such that future deployments and redeployments are repeatable with a high degree of success.
Identifies and reports project issues and communicate status to management.
Provides customer assistance and ensures customer needs are met.
The employee must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed behavior and performance sometimes under stressful conditions.

This position is located at our headquarter location at 325 West Gaines Street, Tallahassee, FL 32399.
Background Screening RequirementsIt is the policy of the Florida Department of Education that applicants for employment undergo level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
