What you will do:
The incumbent will be responsible for design and delivery of enterprise and localized dashboards, electronic workflows, and lightweight applications with minimal traditional coding using the low-code Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and PowerBI).
Working as part of the Automation and Innovation (AI) Team, the incumbent will setup and configure systems for each business group's unique requirements within the Office of Administration.
How you will make an impact:
Work independently or with a team on all areas of Power Platform development and implementation of work items including:
requirements definition, design, configuration, customization, testing, integration, analytics and reporting, user readiness, and production support Analyze and understand customer business processes, objectives, and challenges and then help implement solutions to address those challenges.
Facilitate functional workshops with customers, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions.
Work with the internal product team to develop Power Platform offerings that can be delivered to multiple customers.
Communicate and translate technical concepts to non-technical customers and business leaders.
Continue to develop technical skills keeping up with emerging Microsoft technology and leveraging this knowledge to improve the capabilities of the team.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required BA or BS Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
Preferred 2-5 Years of software development experience similar to the above.
Advanced education, training, or certifications in software developmentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge Knowledge of techniques of system analysis and design; Knowledge of meeting facilitation and problem solving; Knowledge of flowcharting techniques; Knowledge of operations, procedures, and systems; Knowledge of analysis and research techniques; Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform.
Skills Skilled in the use of MS Office Suite software including Visio; Skilled in the use of MS Power Platform and SharePoint; Skilled at writing documentation, flowcharts, and end-user manuals; Skilled in analysis and problem solving; Skilled in managing/coordinating multiple, high-priority assignments.
Abilities Ability to document technical information clearly; Ability to process information logically; Ability to analyze and interpret data; Ability to identify and define business needs; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; Ability, willingness, and desire to assume responsibility of tasks; Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
