JOB DescriptionThe Office of Budget Services, Resource Planning Sub-Unit is looking for a big-thinking, innovative individual to assist in collecting, formatting, tabulating, and analyzing information and statistical data for use in measuring the effectiveness of court programs and operations, and to prepare/develop reports, recommendations for improvements, new programs and training materials.
The position is responsible for performing research to collect data; analyzing information/data; preparing recommendations, reports, and other informational documents; making presentations; providing project support; and serving as an information resource and liaison.
The individual will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple projects, able to think big and be creative (while paying careful attention to detail) and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
The position works under the general supervision of the Senior Court Operations Consultant.
MINIMUM Education and Experience GuidelinesEducation:
Refers to job specific training and education that is recommended for entry into the position.
Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis.
Bachelor's degree in management information systems, statistics, the social sciences, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Refers to the amount of related work experience that is recommended for entry into the position that would result in reasonable expectation that the person can perform the required tasks.
Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis, excluding supervisory experience.
Three years of related work experience.
Special CommentsThis Other Personal Services (OPS) employment is paid hourly and works 40 hours per week, except for holidays.
OPS/Variable hour employees may be eligible for insurance coverage.
There is no paid holiday, sick, or vacation time.
The Florida State Courts System is a criminal justice agency.
The successful applicant will be fingerprinted for the purpose of conducting a criminal history record check.
