The Work You Will Do:
This position is a temporary, part-time data cataloging position housed within the Office of Environmental Accountability and Transparency.
As a data cataloger at DEP, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with one of the nation's largest environmental data sets which helps protect, conserve and manage the state's natural resources.
You will be able to explore the agency by discovering data sources, working with stakeholders to build data dictionaries, and helping to build our first ever, department-wide, online data catalog.

Assisting with the implementation of an enterprise-wide data catalog Working with DEP staff to discover and map important data sources Gathering, standardizing, and building data dictionaries Assisting in the implementation of the DEP Data & Analytics Strategy Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a data science, computer science, information technology, library science, environmental science, or related graduate program as evidenced by transcript and/or degree Preferred
