The Agency for Health Care Administration is Florida's chief health policy and planning entity.
The Agency is responsible for administering the Florida Medicaid program, the licensure and regulation of nearly 50,000 health care facilities, and empowering consumers through health care transparency initiatives.
Under the direction of Agency Secretary Jason Weida, the Agency is focused on advancing Governor DeSantis' vision for Florida's health care system to be the most cost-effective, transparent, and high-quality health care system in the nation.
Current Agency initiatives include implementing Florida's groundbreaking Canadian Prescription Drug Importation Program, overhauling Florida's healthcare technological ecosystem, and increasing insight in the cost of health care services.

Position Overview:
This position is a full-time Career Service position in the Public Records Coordination Office.
This position is responsible for coordinating and assuring completion of all public records requests received by the Agency.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Make assignments and maintain tracking system for all public records requests.
Responsible for sending out invoices associated with the preparation and mailing of public records requests; receive and log payments for invoices; forward payments to Finance and Accounting Department coded with appropriate organizational code.
Copy, mail and file Agency records and responses associated with the Agency's Public Records Coordination System.
Maintain working relationship with persons in each of the Agency's divisions who are assigned to work on public records.
Perform special projects and prepare reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This position reports to the Chief Appellate Counsel and requires a very responsible individual who works well independently with minimal instructions.
Because the person in this position will be providing and receiving information from all areas of the Agency, he/she must also possess the ability to communicate and work well with others.
Candidates must have good computer and typing skills and excellent organizational skills.
Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience with drafting correspondence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS At minimum one year of experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Minimum one year of experience in public relations or customer service.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
