Grant Manager - Public Health

Overview:
The Public Health Research and Grant Manager is a member of an interdisciplinary team of public health consultants assisting Florida in reaching its strategic public health goals.
This position requires a considerable exercise of independent judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, good computer skills, and the ability to perform against high standards of excellence.
Essential Functions /
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily operations associated with the grant application process, advisory council management, council meetings, and related activities.
Support the programmatic activities of the Grant Program by researching topics, organizing conference calls that build the research agenda, serving as a grant liaison, compiling and reviewing documents, answering researchers' questions about application intake, and providing ongoing support.
Analyze data and research information and use the data and information to develop reports and presentations for the state Legislature.
Assist the Department upon request with completing meeting logistics for the Grant Advisory Board by creating meetings notices, organizing details for board meetings and conference calls (such as creating agendas and meeting minutes); and overseeing the annual grant cycle
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong attention to detail.

Budgeting and accounting experience.
Computer literacy.
Knowledge of auditing policies.
Knowledge of donor agencies.
Strong writing skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
