Overview:
Provides leadership on assigned unit to ensure dignified and compassionate care is delivered to clients by all Mental Health Assistants (MHAs) at all times, including during all emergency situation.
Serves as the lead for the unit in responding to emergency events (i.
e.
clients acting out, etc.
).
Demonstrates appropriate de-escalation techniques with the goal to reduce/eliminate use of seclusion and restraint.
Provides patient supervision, care, and activities services in accordance with professional staff direction and unit procedures.
Assists patients in activities of daily living, assists in implementing treatment plans and provides supportive contact with patients.
Trains new staff assigned to unit in accordance with procedure and policies.
Shift:

30 am- 8:
00 pm, Saturday and Sunday Rate of Pay:
$17/hr(0-3Y); $18/hr(4-6Y); $19/hr(7+Y).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
