Serves as the Agency's Baker Act Coordinator and provides liaison services to staff, organizations and providers (e.g., Tallahassee Memorial Behavioral Healthcare (TMBHC), Florida State Hospital (FSH), court, Public Defender, etc.) on Baker Act-related matters in accordance with Florida Statutes/requirements. oBachelor's degree with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, health science, or a related human services field. oOne (1) year of related work experience in a mental health-related field required. Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred. oKnowledge of the Criminal Justice system preferred. Licensure or Certification:
Must maintain current CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
