We are currently seeking a IT Security Compliance Manager/Advisor - Tallahassee, FL to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida (US-FL), United States (US).
This Information Technology and Security Compliance Manager Professional is an individual contributor role, that is responsible for ensuring audit and related compliance requests and tasks are addressed accurately and timely.
In addition, the information technology and security compliance professional will participate with the customer and internal technical teams in the strategic design process to translate compliance and regulatory requirements into controls, processes and systems.
The information technology and security compliance professional maintains document repository systems and facilitates meetings and timelines to ensure achievement of the customer s compliance objectives.
Role
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining information technology and security controls library for supported customer
- Maintaining information technology and security internal and external document repository for supported customer
- Coordinating and preforming monthly and quarterly logical access reviews and taking the appropriate post review actions
- Provide an assessment of the severity of vulnerabilities or deficiencies discovered in the environment and then recommend corrective actions, along with a timeline to address identified vulnerabilities
- Maintain a live Security Risk Assessment status
- Working with technology and related internal and external support staff to:
- Communicate and clarify customer compliance and audit requests
- Gather, review, store, and deliver IT systems compliance and audit supporting documentation
- Host and keep minutes for both internal and external meetings
- Socialize audit schedules and manage timelines and due dates
- Track, socialize, and maintain compliance / audit document request lists
- Track, socialize, and maintain compliance / audit remediation lists
Required Qualifications :
- 5
years experience planning, conducting, and reporting a comprehensive Security Risk Assessments
- Experience with NIST and FISMA software
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Experience following security processes, plans, and reports that align with NIST and FISMA standards for content, formatting, and recommendations
- Experience using Assessment of vulnerabilities Qualys Cloud Security and Rapid7 Nexpose
