OBJECTIVE: To obtain a job in office administration, bookkeeping and/or office receptionist. Administrative/clerical work in governmental, medical or private industry environment.
SKILLS: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook Express, Open Office, MS Office Suite. I have Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable bookkeeping experience. I have the ability to establish and maintain organized filing systems. I have excellent organizational skills. I use Intuit Quick Books and am able to issue invoices, track receivables, issue checks for payables and reconcile bank accounts using QuickBooks.
INTANGIBLES: Mature, dependable employee, team player with leadership skills, and great customer service skills. Grown children means I can devote full time to my employment and never miss work. Health is excellent.
EDUCATION: January, 2014: Accepted into TCC Medical Billing and Coding School. Anticipated graduation date: December, 2016. Goal: Certified Professional Coder. Education can be postponed if necessary for appropriate job.

EMPLOYMENT: August, 2010 – March, 2013: National Center for Continuing Education, Tallahassee, Fla. Office Administrator. Duties included customer service, accounts payable and check disbursements, accounts receivable collections, record keeping and light bookkeeping. Business closed in 2013 due to slow sales.
November, 2009 – June, 2010: Associate. Movie Gallery, Jacksonville. Responsibilities included store management, if opening the store, I did the morning inventory of concessions & new movies,backed up computer system, and balancing sales reports to cash collections. Entered all movies in drop box, into the system(as returned). If I closed the store for the night, I printed out all sales, cash,credit/debit & inventory reports, cleaned & vacuumed the store. Business closed.
November, 2002 – September, 2009: Eckerd Drugs, Jacksonville. Responsibilities included: Customer prescription fulfillment, contacted Insurance Companies on behalf of customers, trained and supervised all new pharmacy employees. Business merged.
January, 1993 – November, 2002: Home School Teacher: I was responsible for preparing daily lesson plans, attendance, grading of all daily class work and quizzes. I would then report (send) the final exams, for each subject to “Christian Light Education” for final grading and verified grades. One son is now employed full-time and my other son attends college and tutors fellow students part time.
August, 1986 – November, 1993: Financial Printing, Inc. Hired as receptionist – promoted to office manager within one year. Responsibilities included: accounts receivable and accounts payable bookkeeping, invoicing and collection of delinquent accounts, end of month reports, payroll, and extensive customer service. Daily bank deposits,answering the 6 line phone system, pulled & prepared new work orders(ex: all information of previous job. Including samples of paper stock, ink samples, ect..) I taught myself to use Great Plains General Ledger Software (now MS GP software).
